Comedy 43 is Battersea and the Clapham Junction area’s newest comedy night

Comedy 43 is Battersea and the Clapham Junction area’s newest comedy night, we’re back in the new year and we’re starting 2019 with a bang with an absolutely cracking line-up of the best comedic talent London has to offer!
Your host for the evening Philipp Carl Kostelecky
– Winner: Beat the Frog, Frog, and Bucket
– Winner: Silver BBC Radio 1 Student Radio Award for Creativity (2017)
– As seen and heard on BBC Wales, Comic Relief and Talk Radio
“I cried with laughter. Some of Kostelecky’s impressions and accents were pitch perfect, like those performed by a young Jim Carrey”
– The Founder
“His charisma and stand up comedy captivated the audience from the moment he stepped onto the stage”
– The Orbital Magazine
“Philipp is an unexpected and hilarious performer, with a great grasp of diving into the absurd realms of his mind, and taking you along for the ride”
– Sam Rhodes
Featuring…
Caspian James
- Winner: Beat The Blackout, Up the Creak
- As heard on BBC London, BBC 4, and BBC 4 Xtra
Bronwyn Sweeney
- Winner: Comedy Showdown (South Ken Comedy Club)
Tom Elwes
“Tom is an excellent stand-up – he has closed Angel Comedy a number of times and crowds love him. A natural. I absolutely expect him to be on TV in about a year”
– Barry Ferns
James Meakin
“James has obvious talent and a knack for spotting the extraordinary hiding in the mundane”
– Sam Rhodes
“With charming presence and witty punchlines, James gets you on his side early on and rewards your loyalty with laughs in abundance”
– Robert Dan, Jetway Comedy
And your headliner for the evening David Tsonos
“Very confident, knows his material totally and had the crowd roaring. Good face and voice for comedy, great timing”.
– The Stand Comedy Club
Comedy 43 Comedy Night will be held at Room 43 bar Clapham on Wednesday 9th January.
